Student Opinion Survey

To make it easier for students to complete the survey during class, ITS has developed the GETmobile app, which is available for download. Using this app, students can easily access and take the student course evaluation survey with their smartphones or tablets in class.

Assignment #3 Grade Sheet

Assignment #3 Final Project 25 pts.

Students will generate collections and brands inspired by a fantasy film of their choice.

Students will prepare one:

Moodboard 1 pt.

Creative statement 1 pt.

Portfolio (digital PDF POSTED ON BLOG, presented (2-3 minute time limit) and printed in a portfolio). 3 pts.

 

Students will choose TWO of the following (10 points for each item):

 

Fashion Design


Design and illustrate a collection of 15 designs. 8 pts.

Textile Swatches digital and analog (i.e. physical swatches for your portfolio) 2 pts.

 

Technical Apparel Design


Design and draw technical flats of a collection of 20 fast fashion looks. 3 pts.

Technical pack for 5 garments 3 pts.

Line sheet for collection 4 pts.

 

Textile Design

Design a collection of 12 textiles with three-color waves of each, for couture and or slow fashion. Mixing repeat patterns, weave structures, engineered prints, embroidery and techno textiles. 8 pts.

Digital and Analog Textile Swatches 2 pts.

 

Merchandiser

Logo 2 pts.

Lookbook: photoshoot – retouching 7 pts.

Wix, Square Space or other Web hosting 1 pt.

Assignment #2

Presentations will go in the order, based on groups listed on the blogs.  Advanced students will present at the end.

 

Students will be graded on the following:

15 pts (each student will be graded on their own area)

Assignment #2: Fast Hand Working in groups of two: Fashion designer / Merchandiser, Merchandiser / Textile Designer or Fashion Designer / Textile Designer, students will choose two of four: Merchandising, Textile design, Fashion design, Technical design for the development of a collection inspired by CULTURAL DRESS.

 

Each Group will prepare one: Moodboard, creative statement and one portfolio for the project.

 

Fashion Design

  • Moodboard 2 pt
  • Design and illustrate a collection of 15 designs expressing couture and or slow fashion. 7 pts
  • Draw 8 flats from your collection. 4 pts
  • Textile Swatches digital and analog (i.e. physical swatches for your portfolio) 2 pt

Technical Apparel Design
